The Art of Cooking, the cooking school at The Inn On Oak Creek in Sedona will have its first class on February 5th. The dream has become a reality. The cooking class schedules for February and March will be posted approximately January 29th.
Classes will be conducted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings by some of Sedona's and Arizona's finest chefs. The chefs will develop a four course dinner menu. The menus will be explained along with any special techniques the attendees will need. From then on it is hands on. One person may be preparing a salad while a couple works on the entre. The best part - when all is done everyone will sit down and enjoy the fruit of their labors.
Classes will be limited to ten people. The menu may contain some of the chef's recommended wine pairings. Most classes will be BYOB while others may have a winemaker or chef offering wines for sale where their licenses permit.
Evening classes begin at 6:00 p.m. and will generally last from 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Each attendee will receive a copy of the menu and all the recipes so they can go home and wow their friends and neighbors with their new talents.
We are very proud of our new all-Viking kitchen. And the chefs we have talked to are enthused about offering you a delectable menu with the finest instruction. Cost is $75.00 per person, nonrefundable. For reservations call the inn at (928)282-7896. Do plan a stay and a delightful evening at The Art of Cooking.
